The Legacy of Triple R
The name Triple R is far more than a business name—it is a family legacy that began more than half a century ago.
In 1970, my father, Tommy Reynolds, established Triple R Dairy in Belvidere, Tennessee. The name represented the three Reynolds men whose hard work and shared commitment built the family dairy: my father, my grandfather, and my uncle. Together, they created more than a successful dairy operation. They built a way of life founded on integrity, perseverance, and an unwavering dedication to caring for both their animals and their community.
When it came time to name my own practice, I knew I wanted to honor that heritage. Triple R Equine Veterinary Services carries the same name, but with a new generation behind it.
Today, the three “Rs” represent my own family: my wife, my daughter, and me. Just as the original Triple R Dairy was built on the strength of family, so too is our veterinary practice. While our work has evolved from dairy cattle to equine athletes, the principles remain unchanged—hard work, honesty, compassion, and a commitment to serving others.
The name Triple R is a bridge between generations. It honors where we came from while reflecting the values that continue to define our future. Every horse we treat and every client we serve carries forward a tradition that began on a small family dairy farm in Belvidere, Tennessee.
For our family, Triple R has never simply been a name. It is a promise—a promise that family comes first, that excellence is earned through dedication, and that caring for animals is both a profession and a calling.
